Create Your Identity: GM Profile System & Visual Themes

The latest update to Wrestling GM 2026 brings exciting personalization features that let you create a unique identity and customize your game's visual experience.

General Manager Profile System

For the first time, you can now create your own in-game identity before building your wrestling federation. The new two-step setup process guides you through:

Step 1: GM Profile Creation

When starting a new game, you'll first create your General Manager persona:

• Name: Enter your first and last name. Your staff will address you personally throughout the game.
• Gender Selection: Choose male, female, or other to define your character.
• Nationality: Select from over 200 countries, each displayed with professional SVG flags.
• Avatar Selection: Pick from 8 custom GM avatar images to represent yourself.

Step 2: Federation Setup

After creating your GM profile, proceed to the familiar federation setup where you name your promotion and choose your logo.

Personalized Experience

Once you've created your GM profile, the game feels genuinely personalized:

• All in-game messages address you by your first name (e.g., "Hey Marcus," instead of "Hey Boss,")
• Your avatar and nationality flag appear in the dashboard header
• Staff members reference you by name in emails and reports
• Your identity persists across save games

Five Visual Themes

We've also introduced a multi-theme system with five dark-based visual options:

Theme Options

1. Default: The original dark theme you know and love
2. Championship Theme: Gold and amber accents for a prestigious feel
3. Metallic Theme: Steel blue and silver tones for a modern industrial look
4. Modern Theme: Purple and indigo colors for a contemporary aesthetic
5. Neon Theme: Vibrant cyan and magenta for a futuristic vibe

Switching Themes

Access themes through the Settings dialog (gear icon). Changes apply instantly and persist across sessions.

Performance Improvements

Behind the scenes, we've optimized image loading:

• WebP Format: All images converted for ~70% smaller file sizes
• Lazy Loading: Images load as you scroll for faster initial page loads
• Local Asset Storage: Federation logos and GM avatars now stored locally for improved reliability
• SVG Country Flags: Professional flag rendering replaces emoji flags

Getting Started

To experience these new features:

1. Start a new game or load an existing save
2. New games will prompt you through the GM Profile setup
3. Access themes anytime through Settings
4. Existing saves will use default avatar/name settings
