Wrestling GM 2026 Beta 1.4.2 is now available.

    Matches look better.

    Results tell you more.

New GMs get much more guidance.

The economy has received a significant rebalance.

    TV Network management is clearer.

And another large collection of booking, Tournament, mobile, stability and data issues has been fixed.

    Wrestling GM 2026 Beta 1.4.2

    A new GM Journey

The existing onboarding checklist helped point new players in the right direction, but it didn't really teach the game.

Beta 1.4.2 introduces the first version of a much more guided onboarding experience.

    New players now get:

    • A spotlight tour of important navigation
    • Five onboarding chapters
    • Milestone transitions as they progress
    • A floating GM Journey progress widget
    • A celebration after completing their first show

The aim is to teach Wrestling GM 2026 while you actually play rather than simply handing you a list of tasks.

Matches now look more like events

Match presentation has received a significant visual upgrade.

1v1 matches now use an image-first layout featuring both wrestlers side by side.

Larger matches automatically adapt into a grid.

The new presentation is used across:

    • Run Show
    • Match results
    • Next Week featured matches

When results are revealed, the winner is clearly highlighted.

The game also now respects the actual sides of a match instead of simply dividing the participant list in half.

    More useful match results

Match and promo result cards now use one shared presentation across:

    • Show Booking
    • Run Show
    • Results
    • Show Summary
    • Week Summary

There is also a new Stat Changes section.

After a match you can see the actual:

    • Skill gains
    • Popularity changes
    • Stamina costs

    generated by that match.

Only wrestlers whose values actually changed are shown.

    A better Week Summary

Week Summary now gives you much more information about what happened across your federation.

Three major sections have been added:

    Match of the Week

See which match delivered the strongest performance.

    Title Changes

Championship changes during the week are surfaced clearly.

    Popularity Movers

See which wrestlers gained or lost the most popularity.

The goal is to make advancing a week feel more like reviewing what happened in your wrestling universe.

    Fairer multi-way matches

Popularity calculations for multi-person matches have been improved.

Previously, every non-winner in something like a Battle Royal could receive effectively the same popularity penalty as losing a standard 1v1 match.

That could punish an entire field far too heavily.

Popularity losses now scale down as the number of participants increases for:

    • Multi-Person matches
    • Battle Royals
    • Elimination Chambers

Standard Singles and team matches remain unaffected.

Secondary rivalry heat is also now tracked correctly in free-for-all multi-way matches.

    Rivalry fixes

Several rivalry edge cases have been corrected.

Using Skip All on multiple segments involving a newly formed pair could previously create multiple rivalries rather than continuing to build heat on the first one.

    That has now been fixed.

Cooperative Championship celebration segments also no longer incorrectly create rivalries when there is no opposition involved.

    Tournament improvements

Tournament matches ending in a No Contest can now be rebooked.

Previously, these matches could become stuck because the Tournament still required a result but the game would not let you book them again.

    Wrestler salary rebalance

The wrestler economy has received a major rebalance.

Lower-category wrestlers are now considerably more affordable.

At the other end of the scale, elite and Legend-level stars can become significant financial commitments.

The goal is to create a clearer progression curve:

building your first roster should be easier, while maintaining a roster full of major stars should become a meaningful late-game challenge.

Rookie difficulty has also been fixed so salary demands are genuinely more forgiving than Veteran.

    Staff salary rebalance

Staff salaries and hiring costs have also been reduced and rebalanced to fit the wider game economy.

Existing signed wrestler and staff contracts are automatically recalculated to the new salary balance.

    Only the salary changes.

Contract length and other negotiated terms remain untouched.

    Clearer TV Network deals

TV Network deals now have a simpler limit.

    Your federation can hold:

    • One active Weekly TV deal
    • One active Premium Live Event TV deal

Previously, it was possible to sign multiple concurrent deals of the same type across different networks.

The Deals tab now includes a compact Signed Deals table showing which Network currently occupies each slot.

    Financial Support for other federations

A new Financial Support interaction has been added to AI Federations.

You can send another federation a cash gift in return for a relationship boost.

    The benefit considers:

    • Federation popularity
    • Financial situation
    • Donation size
    • Recent donations

Repeated gifts have diminishing returns, with relationship gains capped within a rolling four-week period.

Gift tiers, affordability and the current cap are all shown before confirmation.

    Smarter navigation alerts

The game's attention system now covers many more areas.

Navigation can highlight things such as:

    • Vacant Championships
    • Rivalries ready for payoff
    • Critical contracts
    • Staff vacancies
    • Missing Sponsors
    • Missing TV Network deals
    • Head Office upgrades
    • Available GM Skill Points
    • Shop orders ready

The labels are also more specific.

Instead of simply saying Needs Attention, the game can now tell you things such as:

    • Vacancy
    • 2 Shows to Book
    • 3 Skill Points

The desktop Attention Queue has also been expanded with more of these signals.

    Better mobile navigation

The mobile bottom navigation has been rebuilt around:

    • Home
    • Shows
    • Roster
    • Next Week

Next Week now remains permanently accessible through more areas of the game instead of changing depending on your current screen.

    Better Custom Wrestler handling

Purchased Custom Wrestlers now correctly receive later portrait corrections made in the shared wrestler data.

Previously, a Custom Wrestler's image could remain permanently frozen to the portrait that existed when the order was originally created.

The Contract Accepted celebration has also been updated to work properly with the newer square wrestler portraits.

    Contract fixes

Contracts longer than one year can now be submitted correctly.

The contract slider already allowed deals of up to five years, but an older validation rule was still rejecting anything longer than 52 weeks.

    That mismatch has been corrected.

Free Agent salary calculations have also been standardised.

The Free Agents list, Quick Sign and full Negotiation flow now display the same salary demand.

    Sponsorship protection

Sponsorship offers now have additional protection against duplicate acceptance.

A duplicate tap or stale Sponsorship Offer screen can no longer create the same contract twice.

    Recurring PLE fixes

Editing a recurring Premium Live Event series now correctly updates future episodes belonging to that series.

    Mobile and stability fixes

Several stability issues have been addressed.

Wrestlers injured during a running show no longer incorrectly trigger the pre-show injury warning again after matches have already been completed.

This could previously send players back to the booking screen and risk losing completed show progress.

Dialogs have also been improved on iOS and Android so changing browser toolbar sizes are less likely to cut content off-screen.

The Dashboard announcement popup also no longer creates a second identical popup underneath the visible one.

    Performance and app size

A major asset optimisation pass has significantly reduced the size of the game's bundled images.

Wrestler, Staff and GM portrait folders were reduced from approximately:

    372 MB to 31 MB

with no intended visible reduction in image quality.

Accolade assets have also been significantly reduced in size.

    Optional Session Replay

An optional Session Replay setting has been added to help diagnose bugs and usability problems that are difficult to reproduce.

    Session Replay is:

    • Off by default
    • Activated only with explicit player consent

    Data cleanup

A number of underlying data issues have also been corrected.

    These include:

    • Staff records with mismatched internal IDs
    • Stale duplicate wrestler entries
    • Missing Staff portraits
    • Wrestler profile categories not matching their calculated category

These smaller fixes help keep the growing shared Wrestler and Staff databases consistent.
