Beta 1.4.0 — Patreon Exclusive Preview

More control. More identity. More reasons to care about your wrestling universe.

Beta 1.4.0 is now available first to Wrestling GM 2026 GM Club supporters.

This update touches a lot of different areas, but there is a clear theme behind it:

making your federation easier to manage while giving your universe more identity.

The headline addition is the new Accolades system, allowing you to create honours such as King of the Ring or Money in the Bank without forcing everything into the traditional Championship system.

But Beta 1.4.0 goes much further.

The Dashboard and navigation have been rebuilt around a proper management structure. Demands and Promises now have their own decision hub. GM and Federation progression unlocks meaningful cosmetic rewards. Staff management is easier. Financial projections are clearer. The Rumble Feed looks and behaves more like a real social feed. AI Federations have received major financial fixes.

And there is a substantial collection of gameplay fixes driven directly by player feedback.

Wrestling GM 2026 Beta 1.4.0 Exclusive Preview

Accolades — recognise achievements beyond Championships

One of the largest additions in Beta 1.4.0 is the new Accolades system.

Until now, almost every major competitive achievement had to be represented through a Championship.

Accolades introduce a second type of recognition.

They can represent things such as:

    • King of the Ring
    • Money in the Bank
    • Battle Royal winners
    • Tournament honours
    • Special federation awards
    • Custom achievements unique to your universe

There are two main Accolade types.

    Non-redeemable Accolades

These represent honours that are won and recorded rather than continuously held.

    For example:

    King of the Ring

    The game tracks:

    • Most recent winner
    • Number of times won
    • Full history

    Redeemable Accolades

These behave more like something the wrestler physically holds and can eventually cash in.

    For example:

    Money in the Bank

A Redeemable Accolade has one active holder and can be transferred, defended or redeemed.

    Accolades in booking

Accolades are integrated directly into booking.

    Matches now have a separate:

    Accolade on the line

    option.

This can even be combined with a Championship match.

Redeemable Accolades also have a dedicated Redeem option.

Two new segment types have been added:

    • Transfer Accolade
    • Redeem Accolade

Each has its own wrestler and Accolade selection flow.

    Tournament rewards

Singles Tournaments can now award an Accolade instead of a Championship.

That opens up a lot more booking possibilities.

A tournament no longer needs to crown a traditional champion.

It can establish something unique to your federation and build history around it.

    Accolade history and presentation

    Accolades have their own:

    • List page
    • Creation and editing flow
    • Detail page
    • History
    • Navigation entry
    • Colour options
    • Wrestler Career & Achievements card

Held Accolades also appear as coloured badges on wrestler cards.

They now show during Match and Promo Booking as well as on the Roster.

Wins and redemptions can generate Rumble Feed content including:

    • Fan reactions
    • Dirt Sheet reports
    • Official federation announcements
    • First-person wrestler posts

    Why this matters

    Championships should remain Championships.

Accolades give you another way to build prestige, milestones and storytelling without turning every achievement into another belt.

    A new Command Center

The Dashboard's old flat collection of twelve tiles has been reorganised into six management groups:

    • Shows
    • Roster
    • Business
    • World
    • GM
    • Shop

Each group can show a status such as:

    • Decision needed
    • Overdue
    • Reward ready
    • Informational
    • Resting

The game also remembers the last group you opened.

    Desktop gets its own Dashboard

Desktop no longer simply stretches the mobile Command Center.

It now has a purpose-built layout featuring:

    • Compact status strips for each management group
    • An Attention Queue
    • GM and Federation level summary
    • Skill Points
    • Budget
    • Popularity
    • Season progress

The Attention Queue now surfaces real management problems such as:

    • Unbooked shows
    • Vacant Championships
    • Expiring contracts
    • Missing TV deals
    • Missing Sponsors
    • Outstanding wrestler demands
    • Shop rewards

    Why this matters

As Wrestling GM 2026 gets deeper, the Dashboard needs to answer one question immediately:

    What needs my attention?

Beta 1.4.0 moves much closer to that.

Desktop navigation has also been completely rebuilt using the same six-group structure.

The sidebar can now reach all 31 major destinations in the game.

Previously, the flat navigation covered barely half of them.

The current page's group automatically expands.

Next Week is now pinned prominently at the top instead of sitting as a footer link.

A new Jump-to-search command palette has been added.

    Press:

    Cmd + K

    or

    Ctrl + K

and search across all 31 navigation destinations.

The same search is available through the mobile drawer.

For players managing deeper saves, this should make moving around the game considerably faster.

    Better mobile navigation

The mobile top bar now displays the actual page context:

    Group + Page

Profile, Contact, Help and Settings have moved into a dedicated Account section inside the navigation drawer.

Messages remains visible in the top bar because it is the item most likely to require immediate attention.

    Demands & Promises

Player requests and wrestler ultimatums now have a proper management page.

The old Outstanding Promises list has been replaced by Demands & Promises.

Requests are organised into a triage queue based on consequence:

    • Waiting for your answer
    • Broken deadline
    • Currently on the clock
    • History

Opening a demand gives you contextual actions.

Depending on the request you may be able to:

    • Book the suggested match immediately
    • Pay a requested bonus
    • Grant a rest request
    • Accept or decline the demand

Messages containing ultimatums and promises are also no longer deleted after you respond.

They remain in your inbox marked as answered, preserving the history of the conversation.

    Why this matters

Wrestler morale and promises are becoming a real management responsibility rather than a notification you see once and forget about.

    Federation Interaction Decision Board

Interactions with AI Federations have also been redesigned.

Instead of displaying the same flat list of actions every time, the new Decision Board looks at your current relationship and trust.

It surfaces one recommended action based on the situation.

    Other options are separated into:

    • Actions that consume your weekly interaction
    • Free interactions

When an option is unavailable, the game now explains why.

There is also a new Talk section for Praise and Pressure interactions that post through the Rumble Feed.

Several limits have also been fixed so:

    • Joint Shows
    • Talent Exchanges
    • Cross-promotion

properly share the weekly action limit.

    Progression rewards

GM and Federation progression now unlocks more than numbers.

Avatar Frames, Profile Frames and selected GM portraits now unlock at specific progression levels.

When you level up, Week Summary can display a full celebration:

    • Confetti
    • New level
    • Newly unlocked cosmetic rewards

    Why this matters

Progression should feel like an achievement.

Unlocking something visible gives players another reason to care about reaching the next GM or Federation level.

    GM XP fixes

GM progression had been growing much more slowly than intended for some players.

Several documented GM XP sources had never actually been connected to the system.

Beta 1.4.0 adds the missing sources:

    • Renewing a contract on fair terms
    • Recovering an unhappy/critical wrestler's morale
    • Recovering from financial pressure
    • Accepting a positive AI Talent Exchange

These now also appear in the GM Progression How to Earn panel.

    Premium Cosmetics

Work has also expanded around cosmetic customisation.

Players will be able to purchase optional:

    • GM avatars
    • Avatar Frames
    • Profile Frames
    • Federation logos
    • Championship artwork
    • Accolade artwork

A Premium Cosmetic Bundle unlocks both current and future premium cosmetic choices.

Cosmetic ownership is stored at account level, allowing it to follow the player between devices.

These items provide customisation only and do not provide gameplay advantages.

    Custom Factions

The Shop now supports creating an entire custom faction in one workflow.

    Players can create:

    • Three-person factions
    • Four-person factions

This works similarly to Custom Tag Teams.

Buying multiple wrestlers together also reduces the effective cost per wrestler.

For players who enjoy building their own original wrestling universe, this provides a much easier way to introduce a complete faction at once.

    Roster Filters

The shared wrestler filter system has been redesigned across:

    • Roster
    • Draft Board
    • Sponsor Rewards
    • Wrestler Market

    New Quick Filters include:

    • Rest
    • Re-sign
    • Underused

The filter summary is simpler and contract-status counts have been corrected.

Several additional filter count issues have also been fixed.

    Wrestler presentation

Wrestlers now have Ring Titles, giving characters another piece of identity such as:

    • The Wrestling Machine
    • The Smasher

Low-stamina wrestlers now use the same clear warning styling while booking that players already see elsewhere in the game.

This should make accidentally booking an exhausted wrestler less likely.

    Free Agents and Staff

The Free Agents page now supports the same:

    • Large photo tiles
    • Compact cards

    used on the Roster.

The display preference is shared between the two pages.

Staff cards have received the same treatment.

Vacant Staff roles now have a proper View Hiring Options action.

You can also browse replacement candidates for already-filled roles without having to fire the current staff member first.

Messages sent by staff members now display that staff member's actual portrait rather than a generic icon.

    Better financial projections

Multi-show financial forecasting has been substantially improved.

Instead of one combined estimate, Next Week now displays projections per show.

Each show can show estimates for:

    • Ticket sales
    • TV income
    • Merchandise
    • Sponsorships
    • Fees
    • Venue costs

Income also receives a clear status such as:

    • Estimated
    • Pending
    • Conditional

The projection now respects your selected currency as well.

    Sponsorship fixes

A major Sponsorship settlement bug has been fixed.

Show quality was being compared using two incompatible scales:

    • Actual show quality: 0–10
    • Sponsor target: 0–100

This meant shows could incorrectly fail Sponsor quality requirements even when comfortably exceeding them.

    The scales now match properly.

Week Summary Sponsorship figures have also been corrected.

Sponsor failure warnings have been softened so expected or minor misses no longer sound unnecessarily severe.

    Shows and event presentation

Show cards across Shows and Next Week have been redesigned.

Local, non-AI-generated poster artwork options have also been added for:

    • Shows
    • Tournaments

Poster selections now persist properly across the different views of the same event.

The Main Event label on Next Week now reflects the actual final segment of the card, whether it is a match or promo.

    Championship fixes

Several Championship issues have been corrected.

Most importantly, title wins now correctly update the wrestler's own CHAMP badge.

Previously, the Championship record could correctly identify the new holder while wrestler cards still displayed the previous champion.

Longest Reign highlighting has also been corrected.

    Tournaments

Tournament booking received another reliability pass.

Regenerating a show through AI Booking can no longer leave a Tournament match permanently stuck as booked after it disappears from the card.

A safety check also repairs any older Tournament matches left in that state.

The Tournament creation system now automatically repairs stale bracket structures after Group Stage or Multi-Person Qualifier settings change.

    Development Excursions

Several Development Excursion problems have been fixed.

    The flow now:

    • Shows the next step properly
    • Shows the cost before confirmation
    • Actually deducts the cost
    • Adds the guest wrestler to the host federation's usable roster and AI booking pool

    Smarter injury protection

Run Show and Simulate now check whether someone became injured after the show was originally booked.

If an injured wrestler is still on the card, the show will not proceed.

The affected match and wrestler are highlighted so you can fix the booking.

Repeat injuries on the same card also no longer shorten an existing longer injury.

    Match and rivalry fixes

A collection of booking fixes includes:

    • Manual winners are respected correctly during compatible interference finishes
    • Cooperative Championship celebrations no longer accidentally generate rivalries
    • Existing Match/Promo details load properly when editing
    • Rivalry Booking only shows rivalries actually eligible for the show
    • Already-booked warnings are clearer

    Rumble Feed redesign

Rumble Feed has been redesigned into a more recognisable social-media layout.

Posts now use full-width cards with engagement metrics including:

    • Replies
    • Reposts
    • Likes
    • Views

Replies also display the original post as an embedded quoted block.

This makes conversations easier to follow and moves Rumble Feed closer to feeling like a real in-universe social platform.

    AI Federation finances

A major underlying AI Federation problem has been corrected.

AI companies were naturally trending toward bankruptcy because their finances were fundamentally stacked against them.

They were receiving discounted ticket revenue while carrying full expenses, and TV Network income was being generated but never actually deposited.

    AI Federations now receive:

    • TV revenue
    • Merchandise revenue
    • Sponsorship revenue
    • Less severe ticket-sale penalties

Their income is scaled similarly to the player's own financial curves.

    Why this matters

AI Federations need to be credible long-term competitors.

They should succeed or fail because of how the universe develops, not because their financial model was mathematically designed to bankrupt them.

    AI Federation loans

Talent Exchange presentation has also been improved.

Incoming loan wrestlers now clearly show:

    On Loan from [Federation]

instead of looking like they still belong exclusively to their original company.

Federation rosters now include incoming loan guests and correctly hide wrestlers currently loaned elsewhere.

AI Federations also vary their loan requests more and can offer extensions.

    AI Federation roster cleanup

AI Federations had also continued generating old placeholder wrestlers instead of consistently drawing from the shared wrestler pool.

    That has been fixed.

A save migration cleans up existing placeholders.

    Head Office

Several Head Office issues have been fixed, including:

    • Correct Staff capacity at different HQ levels
    • Missing Gym & Catering unlock
    • Headquarters banner correctly scaling with actual HQ level

    Music

Three new songs have been added:

    • Count Me Out
    • Dawaj!
    • Ring That Bell

    Players can now give songs:

    • Thumbs up
    • Thumbs down

This gives me real feedback on which tracks players enjoy and which should eventually be rotated out.

    iOS

Work toward the iOS version continues.

    Beta 1.4.0 includes:

    • Updated app icon and logo assets
    • Several iOS-specific crash fixes
    • Additional fixes discovered during TestFlight preparation

    Crash reporting

Client-side crashes are now recorded server-side.

Errors are grouped using fingerprints to help identify repeated problems.

If the same error spikes significantly within a short period, an alert can be generated.

This should make it much easier to identify stability problems that only affect specific devices or saves.

    Work in progress

Two additional systems have started development during this update cycle.

    Improved onboarding

Work has started on a more guided onboarding experience that teaches players the game's systems rather than relying only on the existing starter checklist.

    Federation Share Card

Work has also started on a downloadable Federation Showcase Card.

The goal is to use your live save data to create an image you can easily share with other players showing how your federation is performing.

These systems are still being developed and will continue evolving in future releases.
