Wrestling GM 2026 - Beta 1.1.8 Release Notes
Beta 1.1.8 is now live
Ads for Rewards, Create Custom Tag Team, shop improvements, and quality-of-life fixes
Beta 1.1.8 is now rolling out for Wrestling GM 2026.
After the huge Beta 1.1.7 update, this release focuses on improving the supporting systems around the game: rewards, the shop, custom wrestler creation, finances, translations, save cleanup, and several important fixes.
The goal of this update is to give players more ways to engage with the game, more value from custom creation features, clearer financial comparison against AI Federations, and a smoother experience across saves.
As always, Wrestling GM 2026 from Just Keep Gaming remains player-first: no forced ads and no pay-to-win mechanics.

What Beta 1.1.8 focuses on
Beta 1.1.8 focuses on more ways to play and more ways to build your roster.
This update adds the new Ads for Rewards page, improves the shop, expands custom wrestler creation, introduces Create Custom Tag Team, adds Bank Balance Ranking, continues localisation improvements, and includes several important fixes for released wrestlers, championships, empty shows, and save migration.
Ads for Rewards
Beta 1.1.8 adds the new Ads for Rewards page.
This feature allows players to choose optional ads in exchange for in-game perks.
This is not forced advertising. Players choose whether they want to engage with it.
The aim is to give players another way to earn useful rewards while keeping the game fair and optional.
Why this matters
Some players want more ways to support their federation without spending money. Ads for Rewards gives players optional access to useful perks while keeping the core game experience intact.
Bank Balance Ranking
The Finances page now includes Bank Balance Ranking.
This shows how your federation’s financial position compares against AI Federations.
It gives players a clearer sense of where they stand financially in the wider wrestling world.
Why this matters
Money is one of the key parts of running a wrestling federation. Bank Balance Ranking gives players a quick way to understand whether they are building a financially strong company or falling behind the competition.
Finance page improvements
The Finances page has received visual improvements to make the information easier to read and more useful.
This includes cleaner presentation around financial status and ranking information.
Shop improvements
The shop layout has been updated to better highlight the Create Yourself as a Wrestler option.
The flow now includes clearer How it Works messaging, helping players understand what they are getting before they create their custom wrestler.
Players now also receive one free portrait regeneration to help make sure their wrestler looks right.
Why this matters
Create Yourself as a Wrestler is one of the most personal features in Wrestling GM 2026. The improved layout and free portrait regeneration should make the process clearer, fairer, and more satisfying.
Create Custom Tag Team
Beta 1.1.8 adds a new shop option: Create Custom Tag Team.
Players can now create two wrestlers at the same time and, once completed, they are automatically added as a tag team.
Create Custom Tag Team is priced cheaper than buying two individual custom wrestlers separately.
It can also be purchased using 2 Patreon Credits, and the 20% Patreon discount applies to these orders as well.
Why this matters
Tag teams are a major part of wrestling booking. This feature gives players a more direct way to add a complete team into their universe, instead of creating two separate wrestlers manually and pairing them later.
Custom Wrestler category spin
Custom Wrestler Creation has also changed.
Instead of every custom wrestler being assigned a flat Lower Midcard category, players now spin a wheel to determine the category of their wrestler.
This adds more excitement to the creation process and makes each custom wrestler feel less predictable.
Translation improvements
Work continued on translations for:
- Portuguese Brazil
- Latin American Spanish
- French
- Italian
Portuguese Brazil and Latin American Spanish were refined to better match the correct context, while French and Italian continued to be translated from scratch.
This work is part of the wider goal to make Wrestling GM 2026 more accessible to players around the world.
Released wrestler cleanup
Several fixes were added around released wrestlers.
Released wrestlers’ promises no longer remain outstanding after they leave.
A one-time save migration has also been added. When loading a current save, the game checks whether released wrestlers are still included in rivalries, tag teams, or stables. If they are, they are removed.
This helps clean up older saves and prevents released wrestlers from remaining attached to systems they should no longer be part of.
Championship fixes
Beta 1.1.8 includes more championship fixes.
The issue where a vacated championship could still show the previous champion as Current has been addressed again.
A separate issue was also fixed where, after vacating Tag Team Championships, players could sometimes be unable to crown new champions through a title match.
Empty show protection
When running multiple shows, the game now blocks empty shows from being run or simulated.
If one of the shows is empty, players must either book it properly or cancel that week’s show.
Why this matters
This prevents accidental empty show results and keeps show progression cleaner and more logical.
Shop and Rewards dashboard improvements
The dashboard layout for the Shop and Rewards areas has been improved.
This should make both areas easier to notice, easier to understand, and more consistent with the wider game presentation.
Thank you
Beta 1.1.8 is not as massive as Beta 1.1.7, but it adds meaningful improvements around rewards, custom creation, finances, shop experience, save cleanup, and long-term quality of life.
