Wrestling GM 2026 - Beta 1.1.2 Release Notes

    7 min read

    Beta 1.1.2 is now live

Cleaner negotiation flow, deeper federation interactions, and stronger weekly booking control

Beta 1.1.2 is now rolling out for Wrestling GM 2026.

This update is focused on practical improvements that make week-to-week federation management feel better: smoother contract negotiations, more meaningful AI Federation interactions, clearer match scoring, better show planning tools, and a round of important fixes to save stability and profile accuracy.

Wrestling GM 2026 is still built around a simple player-first promise from Just Keep Gaming: no forced ads and no pay-to-win mechanics.

    What Beta 1.1.2 focuses on

The main goals for this release were:

    • Improve clarity and flow in high-frequency screens like contract negotiation and show management
    • Make AI Federation relationships feel more dynamic and impactful
    • Rebalance match ratings so strong booking decisions are rewarded more fairly
    • Expand quality-of-life features that reduce friction in longer saves
    • Fix data and display issues affecting trust in profiles, saves, and progression

    Contract negotiation improvements

Contract talks are one of the most important decision points in the game, so this screen has been reworked for better clarity and pacing.

    • Updated the contract negotiation page so it now clearly shows when the player accepts an offer
    • Removed the global footer from the contract negotiation page
    • Replaced it with a sticky action area for a cleaner negotiation flow
    • Added a celebratory pop-up when a wrestler signs a contract
    • The sign confirmation pop-up appears for negotiation flow only, not quick sign

These changes are meant to make negotiations feel more focused and readable, especially during busy signing periods.

AI Federation interactions are now more meaningful

Beta 1.1.2 adds new ways to engage with other federations and increases the strategic impact of those choices.

    New interaction options

    • Private reach out
    • Praise roster depth
    • Start cross-promotion campaign
    • Propose Joint Show
    • Arrange talent exchange
    • Send talent on development excursion
    • Challenge to friendly rivalry

Relationship changes now vary by action

    • Increased AI Federation relationship gains and losses
    • Interactions no longer apply a flat +1 relationship change
    • Relationship outcomes are now more meaningful and varied

The goal is to make diplomacy feel like management, not a repetitive button press.

    Match ratings and booking rebalancing

This is a major tuning pass on how match quality is scored.

    • Rebalanced match ratings across the board
    • Title matches, rivalries, and production value now contribute positively to match ratings
    • These elements elevate match quality when present, but no longer act as penalties when missing
    • Players can now achieve a perfect 10-star match through strong wrestler quality and smart match setup
    • Simplified the display of match and promo ratings on Show Run pages

For players, this should make feedback feel fairer and easier to act on when planning future cards.

    Push notifications for new versions

You can now be alerted when a new version of the game is available.

    • Added push notifications for new game version availability
    • Notifications are only shown if permission is granted through the first-open permission pop-up

This helps active saves stay current without forcing interruptions for players who prefer not to enable notifications.

    Roster and wrestler profile improvements

Several updates improve scouting context and historical accuracy in wrestler profiles.

    • Wrestler profiles now show matches and championships from AI Federations
    • Added an option to view a wrestler profile before signing them to your roster
    • Fixed AI Federation wrestlers having never-ending contracts
    • Fixed changed wrestler names still appearing as old names on the Next Week page

These fixes make profile data more trustworthy and improve decision-making before signings.

    Save and logo fixes

Two important fixes landed for save reliability and visual consistency.

    • Fixed an issue where save data could merge across two game save slots
    • Fixed custom federation logos not showing on the Week Summary page against the player show

Save integrity is critical in a management sim, so this was a high-priority area for this release.

    Show booking and history upgrades

Show management now gives players more control over planning and review.

    • Added support for viewing multiple shows at the same time by selecting multiple shows
    • Shows can now be booked in advance
    • Past shows can now be filtered by week
    • Past shows now default to newest-to-oldest order

This should improve both short-term booking workflow and long-term save analysis.

AI Federation championships now update properly

    • Updated AI Federation championship logic so titles are now contested and defended as expected

This keeps the broader game world more believable and strengthens long-term federation simulation.

    UI and quality-of-life improvements

A broad set of interface updates has been applied across key screens.

    • Updated the tabular component used across many pages
    • Removed unnecessary arrows from the tabular component
    • The tabular component now fills the page when all options fit on screen
    • Championship reign length now displays consistently in weeks instead of days
    • Added a language option button on startup to make language selection more visible
    • Added an in-game announcement pop-up for key updates and changes
    • Once dismissed, that announcement will not reappear for that same announcement

These changes are designed to reduce visual noise, improve consistency, and make important options easier to find.

Improved welcome flow for new players

The first-time experience has also been updated.

    • Updated the new player welcome message with more useful game information
    • The welcome flow now also promotes social media follow channels

This gives new players clearer context early and better ways to stay connected to future updates.
