What's New in Beta 1.0?
This release is packed with improvements across every area of the game. Here's a breakdown of the biggest changes.
Rebalanced Core Gameplay
The way matches, promos and overall show quality are calculated has been completely overhauled. Results should now feel fairer and more reflective of your booking decisions. Different segment types - interviews, promos, matches - now carry unique bonuses and stamina costs, rewarding variety in your card construction.
Each segment also receives its own rating and description, giving you much clearer feedback on how individual parts of your show performed.
Weekly Calendar & Flexible Scheduling
The Show page now features a weekly calendar view so you can see all your booked events at a glance. You can also cancel a single week's event without scrapping an entire series - a quality-of-life improvement many testers requested.
The Promises System
A brand-new mechanic: wrestlers may now approach you with personal requests. They might ask for a specific match, a stipulation they want to compete in, or a shot at a championship. Fulfilling promises boosts morale and loyalty, while ignoring them can lead to frustration. It adds a compelling layer of roster management and keeps you on your toes as a GM.
Improved TV Networks
TV network payouts have been increased to better reward federations that secure broadcast deals. Network goals have also been expanded with previous month summaries and more varied objectives, making the TV landscape feel more dynamic and challenging. A bug causing network deals not to expire correctly has also been fixed.
Smarter AI Booking Assistant
The AI Booking Assistant has received a significant upgrade. It now generates more varied match cards, offers better support for network goal alignment, and places segments more intelligently. You can also toggle whether the AI is allowed to book championship matches, giving you full creative control when you want it.
39 New Female Wrestlers
The roster has expanded with 39 female wrestlers, each with unique stats and gimmicks. Gender title indicators are now displayed on wrestler cards, and championship titles visually reflect their divisions.
Dynamic Stats & Salary
Wrestler points and salary expectations are now calculated dynamically based on their attributes and popularity, creating a more realistic and balanced economy. AI gimmick match booking options have also been expanded for greater variety in AI-run shows.
Bug Fixes & Polish
- Offline launch fix - the game now starts reliably without an internet connection
- Per-appearance wrestlers no longer disappear after 10 weeks
- Departing wrestlers correctly vacate championships and end active rivalries
- Card reordering now updates segment order correctly during show booking
- Weekly product costs are properly included in financial summaries
- Show flow buttons have been standardised for a smoother experience when running a show
- Quick Sign settings added for free agents, letting you set preferences for fast signings
- Refreshed start-up menu with a cleaner, more modern design
- Optimised wrestler cards on the roster and free agent pages for better performance
