Wrestling GM 2026 - Beta 1.0.6 Release Notes

Beta 1.0.6 is now live

Beta 1.0.6 is rolling out now on Google Play. This update is the result of two weeks of focused work driven directly by community feedback - covering difficulty balance, AI federation interactions, UI polish, and the first phase of one of the most-requested systems in the game: Talent Trades.

If you've been playing the beta and sharing what's working (and what isn't), a lot of this update exists because of you.

What this update focuses on

The headline goals for 1.0.6 were:

• Make difficulty settings feel meaningful, especially for new players
• Push deeper into the AI federation relationship layer
• Rebalance long-term federation popularity so it actually means something
• Smooth out the small UI frictions that come up dozens of times per session

Here's the full breakdown of what changed.

Difficulty & Economy Rebalance

Wrestler salaries now properly respect your chosen difficulty setting. This was one of the most consistent pieces of feedback from new players, and it's now in:

• Rookie - significantly lower wrestler salaries to make early federation building more forgiving
• Booker - moderate salary reduction
• Veteran - salaries stay close to the original balance for players who want the full challenge

UI & Navigation Improvements

Several visual upgrades to make day-to-day play feel cleaner and more intentional:

• Sidebar navigation is now colour coded to match the main game dashboard
• The sticky bottom navigation has been reworked to give Next Week the emphasis it deserves
• General Manager Profile and Federation Creation flows received UI improvements
• Updated GM Profile UI, with 10 additional avatars to choose from
• Refreshed visuals for the Interactions tab
• Updated About page with more information about the developer and new social links

New Promo Segment: Federation Shoot

A new promo segment type has been added: Federation Shoot.

• Players can talk positively or negatively about an AI federation during their show
• This directly affects your relationship with that federation
• It feeds into the wider AI federation ecosystem, including the new Talent Trade system below

Talent Trade System - Phase 1

This is the biggest addition in 1.0.6. The first phase of the Talent Trade system is now live, and players can borrow talent from AI federations.

Whether a deal goes through depends on:

• Your federation popularity compared to theirs
• Your existing relationship with that federation
• The duration of the loan
• The intended use for the wrestler

Loans can come with conditions attached, such as:

• Booking the wrestler in the main event
• Not allowing them to lose during the loan

Failing to honour those conditions damages trust with that federation and makes future deals harder to repair. The system is designed to make AI federations feel like real partners - and real rivals.

Federation Popularity Rebalance

Popularity gain and loss has been reworked so that growth feels earned:

• Popularity no longer rises endlessly
• Show quality now needs to match your current popularity level to keep growing
• If your shows aren't keeping pace, popularity can actively fall

This applies pressure to keep improving your booking as your federation scales.

Tag Teams & Stables

• Fixed the issue where Tag Teams and Stables were not gaining experience
• Updated the match creation booking flow so players can now select tag teams directly when booking tag team matches

Wrestler Bios

• Added bios for all wrestlers in the game, giving more character and context to your roster
