TV Networks - Completely Reworked
The old one-size-fits-all TV deal is gone. Networks now fall into three distinct categories, each with its own economics and trade-offs:
Cable
Cable networks pay a flat fixed fee per episode, giving you predictable, stable revenue every week. The catch? Larger cable networks set clear minimum Show Rating and Viewership targets. Miss those targets repeatedly and the network may issue warnings - or cancel your deal entirely.
Best for: Federations that can consistently deliver quality shows and want reliable income.
Streaming
Streaming platforms pay based on how many viewers your show actually attracts. Different platforms offer different per-viewer rates. The per-show payout is typically lower than cable, but there are no minimum Show Rating or Viewership requirements - making streaming a safer bet for smaller or growing federations.
Best for: Up-and-coming federations building an audience without the pressure of strict performance targets.
PPV (Pay-Per-View)
PPV is a premium event model limited to one use per month. Revenue is based on buy numbers - a great show can generate massive income, but a poor one will barely break even. It's high-risk, high-reward.
Best for: Federations that want to build towards blockbuster monthly events and capitalise on hot rivalries.
One Deal at a Time
You can now hold one TV deal for your Weekly show and one deal for your Premium Live Event at any given time. Want to switch networks? You'll need to wait for your current contract to expire first. This adds a layer of strategic planning - choose your deals wisely.
UI Improvements
AI Booking Show Dialog
The AI Booking dialog has received a visual refresh, making it clearer and easier to use when letting the AI assemble your show card.
Run Show & Show Summary Pages
Both the Run Show and Show Summary screens have been updated with a cleaner layout, improved readability, and better visual hierarchy so you can follow the action and review results more comfortably.
Bug Fixes
Contract Negotiations
Several issues with the contract negotiation flow have been resolved, including edge cases where negotiations could stall or display incorrect terms. The process should now feel smoother and more reliable.
