Hot on the heels of our Open Beta launch, Beta 1.0.1 is now available on the Google Play Store. This update is split across two focused sprints - the first half concentrated on look, feel and onboarding, while the second half tackled gameplay systems and UI polish.

23rd-26th March: Onboarding & Visual Polish
The first few days of this cycle were all about making the game feel more polished from the moment you open it.
Asset Preloading on Startup
We've added asset preloading during the startup screen, so once the game launches, transitions between screens are smoother and images load instantly. No more blank avatars or flickering logos.
Refreshed Startup Screen
The startup screen has been redesigned with a more polished layout and clearer calls to action. Whether you're starting a new game or loading a save, the experience is now cleaner and more intuitive.
New About Page
There's now a dedicated About page with information about Wrestling GM 2026 and the developer behind it. It's a small addition, but it helps tell the story of the project.
Improved GM Profile Creation
Creating your General Manager profile is now a much smoother experience. The avatar slider has been upgraded and you'll see a live preview of your selected GM avatar as you build your identity. It's a small touch that makes the setup feel more personal.
Improved Federation Creation
Federation setup has received the same treatment - a cleaner layout, better avatar slider, and a live federation preview that shows you exactly what your promotion will look like before you confirm.
Updated Help Center
The Help Center now features FAQ categories and a search function, making it far easier to find answers without scrolling through a long list.
Updated Contact Us Form
The Contact Us form now includes message categories so feedback is better organised. If you're logged in, your name and email are pre-filled automatically - one less thing to worry about.
27th-29th March: Gameplay Systems & UI Polish
The second half of the week shifted focus to core gameplay improvements and interface consistency.
Difficulty Selection
You can now choose your difficulty when starting a new game:
- Rookie - Higher starting cash and federation popularity. Ideal for learning the ropes.
- Booker - A balanced start. The standard Wrestling GM experience.
- Veteran - Lower starting resources and tougher competition. For experienced GMs only.
This gives players much more control over the challenge level and replayability.
Overhauled Morale System
Morale has been completely reworked:
- New signings now start at 100 morale - they're excited to join your federation.
- Morale is affected by match results, contract negotiations, and wrestler requests (promises).
- Morale now directly impacts match quality, negotiation outcomes, and whether wrestlers may choose to leave your company.
This makes morale a genuinely important stat to manage, rather than a background number you could safely ignore.
Cleaned Up Contract Demands
We've removed old leftover contract demands like Creative Freedom and Minimum Appearances Per Month that were no longer relevant to the current game systems. Contracts are now cleaner and more focused.
Updated In-Game Messages
The messages system has been refreshed with a cleaner design, search functionality, and message categories. Finding important updates from your roster is now much faster.
Updated Wrestler Profile Page
The Wrestler Profile page has been redesigned to match the rest of the UI, bringing it in line with the visual improvements across the game.
